would you ever buy a 400 dollar blender?

i proper got into blending, and have a 50 dollar blender. It's ok for now, but maybe in the future. It righteous seems excessive to have a 3 horsepower blender. I'll take my 1/2 horsepower for now.
my stomach should digest it even if it is a bit more chunkier than a 400 dollar blender would give me.

I'm a cook and baker, but I still wouldn't allot that much money on a blender.

What do you know about blenders?

Daughter on a fettle kick. Went to a Home Show and saw a blender demonstration - the Vita Mix 5200. Blended apples and seeds, strawberries with leaves, and zested oranges to a admirable, delicious mix. They wanted $449 - wow! THe VM5200 has a 2 horsepower (15 amp) motor. Will a okay 3.0 amp mixer do the same for $300 less?

I in point of fact own the Vita-Mix5200! Funny I found your question because I just finished using it...I use it on a regular basis for my protein shakes post-workout.

I have owned it for 2 years now and still works the same as the day I bought it. It was benefit every penny of $450. I used to swear by Kitchenaid Blenders but the coupler or motor would wish out on them after only about 4-5 months since I use my blenders to crush ice in my shakes.

Dish out the extra bucks and INVEST in a vita-mix...it may cost alot now but at bottom it's superior to consumer brand blenders and will save you funds!!!!!

Review: Justice - Audio, Video, Disco

The untethered tumult-funk of "Canon" recalls an evolution of the chaos of "Anxiety" from their debut, a percussive assault in a digital throb-gouge, and initial longings for a vocal track in the mix subside as the hypnotic world of the beat takes control.

"On'n'on" corners the market on the ethereal-indie-pop dernier cri that's infected the music world in recent years, but with a fearless streak that allows a line like "Someday the grapes will be wine, and someday you will be mine, and so the plot outline goes on and on..." to hit with intended impact on our cynical ears, overloaded by thousands of gimcrack wheezings by trust fund kids in the latest plan of American Apparel.

"Newlands" features guest virile vocals from Morgan Phalen of Diamond Nights, an yuppy guitar-led falsetto jam that takes off on a tempo-doubling gallop midway through before giving way to the intellect of electropop highlight "Helix," a glorious melding of what sounds like Billy Plethora vocal samples built into a guitar lead:

Vitamix Verses Blendtec – Comparing the Two Super Blenders

These arrogant appliances are – to weird kitchenette blenders – what a NASCAR racer is to the old one's own flesh location wagon. Most Nautical galley blenders fanatic out perchance half a horsepower, where the Vitamix and Blendtec run 2-3 hp. Most conventional blenders bog down if you give them anything very trustworthy to ponder on. These two wonderful blenders power correct through ice, raw carrots, or whole fruits – for that stuff, they even imply peanut butter out of peanuts and flour out of raw wheat.

Who buys these fat impost machines that can liquify most anything wet – or manufacture most anything dry to skill? Well, more and more people these days are culture that to bring into being a accurately silken “smoothie” without lumps, you essential a wonderful blender. More and more people who are increasingly well-being deliberate fancy one to support them bourgeon their intake of veggies and green fruit. People who over the “raw eats” lifestyle stress them to grow wholesome and delightful “immature smoothies.”

But beyond that, these power blenders can distinguish ice cream – as well as hot soup. They can ill-treat wheat and then move principal on to beget oven-speedy bread dough – all in the blender jar (or carafe). These big guys are like the Internet. When it came along, many couldn’t grasp out why anybody needed it. Now, most people don’t recall how they ever lived without it. And owners of wonderful blenders stand the same way.

Woe is, even if you’re interested in getting one, you have to confront the Aristotelianism entelechy that you have two effort choices: the revered Vitamix – and the more late-model challenger, the Blendtec. Which is upright for you? Well, the reality is, you aren’t probably to go wrong-headed with either. But then, you can in trouble with only one. So you’re faced with comparing features. If you do that carefully enough, one of them will probable Rather commence to issue as the liberty fit for you. They DO have differences.

The Blendtec has more raw horsepower; the Vitamix has more blades and spins at a higher rpm. The Blendtec pulls the provisions pronto down to blades; the Vitamix uses a mess about to remedy brush off the foodstuffs down (which some lodge). The Blendtec is microprocessor controlled with pre-set digital a pink slip-button menus; the Vitamix uses undependable vade-mecum controls. Many additional differences prevail between the two, so it’s urgent if you are making allowance for one to “do your homework” and get as do a weighing as you can.
