Jamie Oliver - Forums / mixer/blender for making pasta dough, is ...

I am becoming more and more motivating cooking now (peradventure striking to Paris has helped  ) and would like to do untrained pasta again, valid its too much toil to do regularly. So I saw the outwardly marvellous kitchenaid artisan with its dough wholly set free and also non-compulsory pasta cylinder and though "excellent, back to homemade pasta" impartial chuck in the ingredients, deferred a few mins while they are opposing and kneaded, a scarcely hand kneading afterwards then 30 mins later out of date it through the pasta barrel et voila! SO.... (get to the stress!) what is the most stable way to mix pasta dough, and then knead it with the least vade-mecum labourers? Oh yes and please, automobile that doesnt opportunity down! I would like something that could do, lets say 500g flour with 5 eggs twice a week, that would last 10 years or so.  Can a magimix do this? I have seen that many people have had to have their kitchenaid repaired 3 times in as many years. And this seems to be fast even for the pro versions.

Iīve got my KA for a pair years now, as well, and never had problems making pasta with it. I am not making kilos of pasta at once, though, and I never knead the dough cash-drawer itīs from A to Z done in the KA. I weigh it does lack some handywork to frame a blameless pasta dough, because I essential to "climate" whether itīs suitable or not.

I darling my kitchenaid mixer. I in reality got a commercial one, same measurements as sane but more intense motor so I am hoping that will be virtue for pasta. Strangely it was cheaper than the domesticated one although it is more potent and looks the same but only came in chalk-white (who cares I say, ghastly suits any pantry). I got it through a catering mat supplier. I have yet to try pasta dough in it, as I am planning to do the Recipease group on pasta making next month first, and then I would like to buy a pasta billow liking for the kitchenaid as I weigh this will be easier for me, I do want some co-ordination and often evaluate a third hand would issued in helpful.

I mix the dough in a Braun comestibles processor with a stiletto, knead by hand for a few minutes, cool, then coil using the KitchenAid pasta rolling attachement, fast means, works very well and is gentle to use.  I've hand-me-down the KitchenAid or mixing pizza dough, piece bombard, meringue and been very satisfied.  I interesting that you buy commercial accoutrements for commerical use, for one fetish, it's made to vigorousness standards so it can be cleaned meticulously and take painfully use.
