I am insomuch as the purchase of a personal blender. Currently I spend about $4.50 a day on a smoothie at the restaurant in my workplace. I'd like to borrow these myself since I stay full longer and really enjoy the convience of a jolt.
There are so many brands available and I was curious as to your experiences and what you might suggest as the blender to buy.
So far I've heard of:

And if not, can anyone guide a decent alternative personal blender that is better quality?
I was unsatisfactory to get one and use it mostly for food processing. I don't care for homemade smoothies.
It doesn't exertion QUITE as efficiently as they make it seem, but it is worth buying. I use mine quotidian, for many things. The biggest drawback is that if you are making something thick, such as a cheese spread, dip, etc., you sometimes have to take off the cap, and mess the ingredients down, replace the lid, and reblend-sometimes several times for one thing. Still, it does a safe job, and the extra containers and such are pretty handy. I make my daughter a smoothie to take in her lunchbox, and I can discern it the night before, zip it up in the morning, and put one of the caps on, and its good to go. The containers are very heavy-duty too. I am a pretty hard sell, but I like my bullet enough that I bought a help one after my first quit working (my fault, not the blenders) I am super hard on them, as I use them for grinding flour from very spirituous grains such as buckwheat and oat groats. I would purchase yet another if this one broke-and coming from me, thats absolutely an endorsement, lol. I DO have to add, that the juicer attachment is quite useless-only works for wonderful soft fruits, such as melons. No good for carrots, apples, etc.
