How to I replace the clutch on my Cuisinart SPB-7?

How do I make restitution for the clutch drive on my Cuisinart blender Model # SPB-7 series
I have the new lay hold of part but I can't remove the old one.
It looks like I just have to unscrew the old one out but the go spindle keeps rotating as well. Anyone else with this type of blender who has the same tough nut to crack. Or anyone in and around Martinez, CA know of a good repair shop that can do it for me?
