As a breadmaker Loaf conquers all
31.12.69
Bear in mind a few years ago when electric breadmakers were all the rage?
Perhaps you got swept up in the craving for inexperienced homemade loaves and bought a breadmaker.
Perhaps you stunned your relatives with feats of doughy best.
And perhaps you were willing to overlook some of the disappointments, like how poorly insulated your breadmaker was, heating up the pantry to the level of a fire swamp on hot days (although it made a great space heater in the winter).
Or perhaps you veteran Appliance Letdown Syndrome every time you had to extricate the kneading paddle from the freshly cooked scrimshank, leaving behind a ragged internal rupture that would show up in at least half of the bread slices.
Or perhaps you were dismayed by the sound from the kneading chamber, which hurled decibels farther and faster than a flicks star throwing a tantrum in a Winnebago.
And when the loaf pan went 'acidic' after a couple of years and started producing loaves with an unpleasant waste-y pong, you might have discovered that a replacement pan was no longer available, even on eBay.
