Regarding Dough, Baking & Breadmachines...?
I fair bought a new breadmachine. ...1. Can I basically take any bread programme and put it in my breadmachine instead?
Can I freeze dough?...2. If I hyperbolize pizza dough and end up having too much, can I freeze the rest?
1. Do know the manual that came with the machine. You can use almost any bread recipe only just put the ingredients into the machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. In the main that means liquids and wet ingredients first, then the dry ingredients.
After you've used your contrivance a few time, you'll know which regular recipes will work and which ones won't.
Google "bread automobile recipes." There are zillions.
2. Of course you can make pizza dough and ice it. My recipe makes three dinner sized pizzas. I take the dough out of the prime mover and form my pizzas. Then I drop the plate sized pizzas into a sprayed toss iron skillet and cook it about three minutes on a side. This is a perfect weight for one person (me). My husband will eat two of these pizzas. These pre-cooked crusts flash-freeze well and they are great to have on hand for a quick supper or snack.
3. You can ban a ball of dough if you want. Keeps for about 6 weeks. Then thaw it and appearance your pizza.
