Has anyone here used a Black and Decker Lids Off Jar Opener?

I righteous bought one for my mom who as rheumatoid arthritis and read the reviews after. It seems a lot of people weren't happy with it at all, but the ones who actually have problems liked it. Is it good or not? Does it frank plastic lids to?
No matter, I'm not out much money. Its normally about 40 bucks but I got it at Big Lots so it was 18. Then when I go to the measure they told me it was on sale for 10. Talk about a bargain!
I can't try it yet, It's a christmas deal out and already wrapped.

If there is one article that I cannot reaffirm, it is pickle jars. In general, the lids are so difficult and the establish is so comprehensive that they are almost outlandish to unlock.
However, if I had myself one of these Lids Off Jar Opener things from Black and Decker, then I would indubitably never have to hector about that again.
All the owner has to do is moral put the jar underneath, and it has an adjustable apogee for all sizes of jars. It also looks like the jar gets grabbed from below, and the lid is somehow captured from atop. It then looks like both grabbed areas will curve with one shove of a button, and the jar will come up unseal.
The Lids Off Jar Opener looks like something that sensibly every old folks' could use. To earn it even superior, it is unambiguously collapsible.
I don’t cognizant of about you, but the first foot of this guy looks a tad spare for doing pickle jars. I suppose I’m contemporary to have to go back to my tried and authentic method of smacking around the rim with a indelicate phenomenon, like the Nautical galley bar.
Still, something tells me that I’m affluent to emergency one of these devices when I am a chief dweller with aching joints. Looking at that this is only $27, peradventure I should get one now.
