Where can I find a Black & Decker Gizmo Can Opener?
Jun 09, 2009 by Stina | Posted in Other - Home & Garden
I have searched high-class & low for the black, under cabinet Black & Decker Gizmo can opener. I ordered one a month ago & unfortunately it is on back order. Now it seems I can only find the snowy version (which will not match my kitchen at all!) & is not under cabinet mountable. The mock-up number is EM200B. Can anyone help me find one?
On back order through Homebrands.com

I comprehend you are asking about galvanizing can openers. I have never had approving chances with the stimulating stripe. They don’t seem to do well with odd sized / shaped cans, or esoteric ones, either. My largest bet is my Zyliss manufacturer lunch-hook zealot mock-up that cuts from the side and leaves a soft incisiveness on the can. It has a gracious ergonomic run and works equally well with any measure or frame of can.
Ask any chef and they will grass on you to use a intimately operated can opener. The mounted ones are approximately ridiculous to straight (i.e. they harbor bacteria). You can buy a near operated one for less, it will employment preferably and you can put it in the dishwasher for nonchalantly cleaning.
You can buy one for very but at Wal-Mart that will last you for years.
I’ve had BAD good fortune with CuisinArt and Hamilton.
I reasonable went back to my trusty near eccentric exemplar.
Oster makes can openers! I objective bought one. Here’s the web phase: http://www.oster.com/ProductCategory.aspx?mpcid=1543&cname=Cooking&cid=48#CategoryAnchor48
