How many can openers does one person need?
My mom has a handbook, the hand crank kind. A counter top model, the one with a knife sharpener built in the back. And one mounted under the cabinets, it's a gissmo that comes off the foot for hand held use. AND just last weekend I noticed a new one like the gissmo but a diff kind still sealed in the box. When I asked her if she would let me take a few of the old ones to the goodwill she said NO! Then the next day I asked her if she would let me have the one shut she said yes. But, I don't want it. I am happy with my one hand crank that fits away in my scullery drawer. Her prob doesn't end with can openers. She is not stingy at all. Why does she sense like she needs so much stuff?
