We have a new ceramic cook top and it seems to get squalid and get residue that's hard to come off very easily. What is the best way to keep it entirely and in good condition? If it helps any, it's made by Whirlpool.
I use a goods called Soft Scrub. I think you can get different brands of it now. And use a squashy scrubbie. It usually comes out pretty clean. Sometimes if something has boiled over and stuck on I will get it lovely wet and let is soften a bit before scrubbing it off. Try to keep the spills wiped up as they happen to swipe clean up easier. I've had my cook top for 15 years and it still looks in effect good.
