I have a Whirlpool oven with the basic 4 burner cooktop. Can I replace the top with a flat cooktop?

I dearth to replace the standard cooktop I have with one of the newer flat cooktops. I was wondering if it's realizable to retrofit the flat cooktop onto my existing oven or if I need an unequivocally new oven.

I expect that you have a range (oven and cooktop in 1 appliance). There isn't a way to shift the coil burners and replace it with a radient (smooth) top. If you are irritated of your range, there are several options for replacing it that are completely affordable. I assume trust to they start at about $499 for a good model, $699 for a top rated original at Sears.

If you have a wall-oven and cooktop (two seperate appliances), then it should be mignonne easy to find a new cooktop. Just make sure that you scope carefully and bring the measurements with you to the store. Be exact. A perilous cooktop will run you about $499 to $549 and you may want to consider paying dividend for installation from a professional. If the company installs it and something goes iniquitous, they are liable, not you.

How do I clean burnt water stains off a ceramic stovetop?

I have one of those flat cooktops that is Negroid. A pot of boiling water overflowed and now there are large burnt tap water stains all over that will not come off. I have tried 409 and just career conventional water but it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I right-minded answered one for a ceramic stove top. I promise you this will take it off. It's called Whink's opera-glasses and ceramic stove top cleaner. I tried them all and this one's a miracle artisan. If you cannot find it in your supermarket, go to www.whink.com or call 1-800-247-5012 and ask them where in your area you can purchase it. The others communicate you to use a scraper or a nylon scrubbie. This one, pour on the stains, spread a bit on the stains, let sit a another, then scrub it off with a paper towel. If you work on it with the paper towel, wiping impregnable on bad spots, it will come off. I promise this works!
