I'm looking for something affordable, and Frigidaire seems to into up to my standards and it looks nice too, any input?
I have a Frigidaire vary, washer and dryer, and refrigerator and have been very pleased with all my Frigidaire appliances. They are among the least precious appliances available but the quality seems to be there. I've had no problems at all with the range. If I were growing to buy new appliances tomorrow, I would buy Frigidaire brand.

If you have another element the same size, plug the good one into the doubtful socket. If it heats up, the element is bad. If it doesn't, the socket or temperature switch is bad.
