My kitchen aid liquefier blows the top off every time that I try to mix soup. Why?
Is it because I'm bothersome to liquefy a hot soup? It hasn't done it before but after 3 times of cleaning my kitchen (don't lol) I cogitation I should ask someone. Generally we just use it to crush ice for cocktails so I'm still a novice on using it for bona-fide cooking tasks.
It's a Blender not a liquifier.
Putting a lid on something that is hot is threatening. The steam needs somewhere to escape. If it doesn't go somewhere it builds Compressing.
I'm sure the recipe says to let it cool a bit first.
You have a couple of options:
Let it aloof for a few minutes, then blend then put it back into the pot to reheat.
Don't fill as full and then, also leave the little part of the lid that arrive out, off. Cover that loosely with a clean kitchen towel.
