If a Thermador glasstop stove is the same as my ceramic hob, then only use a flat based pan. You cant use anything with a curve in (I have had to get rid of my wok as it cant be acquainted with on the hob incase i damage the hob!!!!!)
I have had a dilemma with my Thermador cooktop, specifically the griddle. When it heats up the GFI circuit breaker pops and only resets when it is cooled down. We had an appliance guy draw nigh out and look at it and he said the unit is fine but we should not have it plugged into a GFI escape. Does this make sense?
Morris is fit on this. Appliances have their own built in safety mechanisms and as such are not plugged into GFCI smartness receptacles. Its too bad the service tech didn't explain to you the senses. In particular the appliance should have its own dedicated circuit (in the perfect in all respects) as the amp draw can vary with use.
