How do you remove mold smells from a crock pot lid seal?

I was cleaning out my cabinets today and came across my crock pot. The only delinquent is that the seal on the lid smells like mold and I am afraid that the hum with transfer to what ever I try to cook in it. Anyone have any idea of how to get rid of that smell?


Try wiping the whole subject out with bleach in water to kill any remaining mold, Medicine lavage well, and let it air out for a day or two.

(Don't worry about the bleach.)

How do i cook corned beef and cabbage NOT in the crock pot? How long and at what temp. to make tender?

I can't find my crock pot lid and never made it any other way...
