What's the best slow cooker (Crock-pot, etc.) available for a reasonable price?

I'm frustrating to find a good Slow Cooker for my mom this Christmas but the reviews on amazon.com aren't very good. Most have low scores, but some have great in extent scores but they all still have at least one review that says "Cooks food too hasty!" Either all the slow cookers they have for sale don't work right or the reviewers are addle-headed and are using them wrong. What is the best cheap (-$100) slow cooker to hand?

You can pick up a slow cooker or a crock pot for under $30.00. They all profession about the same. Just be sure to buy one with a removable crock pot (apart from the debased) for easy soaking and cleaning. I have never bought one that cooks "too solidly"?

Hi... I am looking for the defeat slow cooker recipe. I just bought a crockpot and need a active recipe- it should be original and creative- something youve cooked and youve got enthusiastic reception reviews about from others. Best answer wins 10 points thanks for your daily help :-) I dont want ANY FROM WEBSITES. I want your own method posted here thanks- one thats tried and true

This sounds too relaxing to be good, but it really is.

Wash boneless, skinless chicken breasts or tenders. Rather residence in crockpot. Cover with bottled BBQ sauce (use your favorite), proper make sure it covers the chicken well. Then let it cook several hours or most of the day. It's quite great.
