How is the lid on my new crock pot take for granted to fit? Is there suppose to be a gap between the lid and the top of the pot?
I have one of these crock pots also, and there is a inconsequential gap between the sides of the pot and the lid. The lid sits on the "inside" rim and sometimes this can root an issue as moisture gets in there often because it's not sealed tightly.

I'm in search of recommendations for a smaller CrockPot or tardy cooker. My prevailing image is certainly extensive -- far too Brobdingnagian for recipes for objective me (or simply me and a dinner visitor). While I sometimes transform big recipes and freeze the leftovers for later, that's not always the most successfully estimation for me. I do have a smaller pot, the considerate you type queso dip in, but it has no temperature control -- decent turns on when you stopper it in. I have a quart and a half crockpot which I use when I'm alone. It as usual makes enough for another tea overdo, or two non-swinish meals for two. I use a timer clog that I bought in a arms believe in to set it on and off (i use this for my 3 quart too). I find a affable purpose extreemly beneficial!
