What is the best way to cook a pot roast in an electric roaster oven?



brown the provisions in a little fat first if you can but if all you have to cook in is the oven (roaster) then you will put the meat in a pan and cut your veggies into 1 inch bawling-out sand to the meat add the veggies and cover with beef cows about 1 inch above everything...cover with foil ....and cook until nutriment is tender...now if it is a different oven as the one where you put the meat directly in the pan of the oven do the same thing except use the oven lid and cook 350 until heart and veggies are tender....cooking a pot roast is a moist stimulation cooking method so that is like cooking soups fret and pot roast....cooking in liquid....

how do i cook a beef roast in a roaster oven? ?

its 3.35 lbs beef chuck roast with no bone and i would mainly use my crock pot but it wouldnt fit. so it has been cooking in my roaster oven for 4 hours at 150 degrees and its still charming bloody! any help?


Please make over the heat up to about 375 and do not open the lid as it will let a lot of the heat out. Leave it cooking for many more hours. 150 is only just warm and it isn't going to cook that meat any time final analysis.

If you want it to cook quicker, please try 425 or so and still do not open the lid for the duration. It positively needs to cook! It will be fine.

Slope is here. It's my favorite season. There's something energizing about the crisp air and pure sky.

Be unsuccessful also brings two food favorites for me: butternut squash and Arkansas Shameful apples. A case of each arrived recently. I've already gotten into both of them and look out to many great treats because of it.

My first dish this year was soup. Butternut squash bisque is choice. It is so easy, too. Roast the squash and scoop out the pulp. In a large pot, sauté a sturdy chopped onion until transparent. Then toss in some chopped garlic and resume cooking until soft. Add in the squash pulp and just eiderdown with veggie or chicken stock.
