I had a roaster oven.. It burned up I was wondering if I could take the pan detail out of it and use it in the oven to cook my turkey in?
The pan is not glass like it is more like a metal is what I would call it I believe.... It's probally not exactly like metal but like just trying to give some idea of what the pan is to make sure it would be oven secure... Almost like a cookie sheet... Would it be safe as houses to put it in the oven ?
If your pan is like mine (porcelain lined) then I would ruminate over it would be okay. But will it fit!?! I don't think mine would. The rims on my pan are pretty off the target. I have used a wide rectangular glass casserole dish (the one I fancy lasagna in)with aluminum foil to cover to do a 14 lb. turkey in my uniform oven. That might work better for you also. A friend used her 13 x 9 cube pan for her bird.

I've been contemplative about getting one for a long time. I need some extra oven dwell. These aren't expensive. Do they work well?
I only fair got a stove a couple weeks ago and so for the past few years have reach-me-down the rival roaster. It is wonderful and a great investment. Brand new at Walmart or Meijer it costs about 40 bucks. I happened to satisfactorily accross mine at a thrift store for about 10 and it is great!!!! You can roast a 15 pulp turkey in it, bake cookies, cakes, lazagna, anything you can realize in the oven you can make it this. And they are very easy to clean.
