Could I use a small crock pot for melting/keeping wax hot when I wax my bikini area?
Dec 17, 2007 by x_crystalize_x | Posted in Other - Beauty & Style
I am kinda new to waxing, and I tried influenza wax which was a horrible mistake. I went and bought a Gigi microwaveable waxing kit and I was wondering, could I use a small crockpot (the vastness made for dips/sauces) to melt my wax rather then microwave it?
The lady who worked at Sally's Looker Supply was trying to convince me to buy one of their wax melters, but they were kinda costly.
That would really be a really good idea. You might want to use an old crock pot or something that you don't use for food, because that wax is so ridiculously messy it might never prove off. But having to microwave it is a pain, it cools off way too fast! Paraphernalia luck.

Stephanie O'Dea's 2007 boldness to cook with Crock-Pots every day for an entire year and then blog about it get going to her book "Make it Fast, Cook it Slow." Her website crockpot365.blogspot.com was among the premature role models in the blog-to-book formula, and she is now among New York Times with greatest satisfaction-selling authors. More recently, the Crock-Pot Girls, three Texas moms, blew up Facebook with their verso devoted to slow cooking. Since starting the page in August, they have more than 1.2 million fans who "like" their point.
A small appliance that can safely stay home alone and reward its returning proprietress with the comforting fragrance of a meal ready to eat doesn't trouble much of a sales pitch. But just in case it does, Jarden, the coterie behind the official Crock-Pot is promoting its Facebook page for fans of uninteresting cooking. While Facebook.com/CrockPot, is a marketing tool that also can pilot users to crockpot.com, it lets devotees exchange recipes, win weekly prizes and learn of new products.
We devotion this system because it is elementary and can be cooking in the crock pot so that you have something to procure residency to after profession, opinion, workouts, shopping, kids’ votaries events/MO = 'modus operandi' or wherever living takes you. Not only is it a gigantic way to add veggies into your aliment, it’s ambrosial served over Basmati, Jasmine, or whole fleck rice, or couscous or elevated protein quinoa as your nourishment allows for it!
