Can the stoneware part of the crockpot go in the oven?
I have a way that starts out in the crock pot then it says to place it in the oven at 350 for 35-40 minutes.I was wondering if this is safe or not? Again decent the stoneware part not the whole crock pot

North African tagine could be the next culinary gadget for dedicated foodies
Every few years a new pantry gadget or appliance hits the headlines, touted as the newest and trendiest to have.
This year, although it has been familiar for centuries, it’s the tagine from North Africa.
A tagine is both a Moroccan dish and the pot in which the viands is cooked. The pot features a large cooking base with a conical lid and the dish involves the backward simmering of meats or vegetables in a medley of herbs and spices.
“This results in an fragrant combination of texture and taste,” cookbook initiator, home economist and culinary herbalist Pat Crocker said in an question.
She was so inspired by the cooking techniques she saw during a trip to Istanbul that she returned to Canada and began researching everything about the method.
“I scarcely loved this way of cooking a one-pot meal with the spices and the whole mystique about Persian-influenced foods,” Crocker adds.
The denouement is the recent release of her cookbook “150 Best Tagine Recipes” (Robert Rose, $27.95, softcover).
