Fatiguing to figure cost to build a 44,000 squre foot sneakingly school in Chicago. Would like to estimate cost for budget planning projections. The 2 position facility will include a banquette room on 2 levels of brutally 8,000 square feet and cooking kitchen with a 15 inch fryer (2) 36 inch ranges, and (3) 24 inch dishwashers. that will of advantage to approximately 160 chilren 5 days a week. Electrifying forced air heating and cooling, plus 2 showers. Also planned is an elevator and dumbwaiter. And a sum up of 5 bathrooms with 12 toilets and 9 sinks. If nayone knows of a way to help reckon this utility cost; gas, water, electricity

If you just have to do it by hand, it can be done but it will be painful and take surely a bit of time if you have never done this, which I suppose you haven't if you don't know the resources to estimation these numbers. Water usage is pretty easy to conjecture. Power usage of units by tonnage shold be quite easy to find. Gas usage is same idea as power. Once you know area of unit, duration of usage per day, etc. you need the cost the utility companies' will attack for each utility. I have only ever done a water usage estimate which was required by the Burgh so they would know how much to charge for Impact fee. The book I have used to judgement is "Mechanical and Electrical Equipment for Buildings". These are criticism that will be performed by Mechanical and Electrical Engineers that are hired by you Architect to develop the building. If this is a "real" project you might be capable to get some help from a helpful engineering company.

Kenmore Dishwasher Installation Dimensions (Height)?

I'm interested in buying a Kenmore Elite dishwasher (http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605 _02213163000P?vName=Appliances&cName =Dishwashers&sName=Built-In+Dishwash ers ). I currently have a GE ideal in a standard space under my counter. The height for the new dishwasher from the Sears Web instal is 34.5 inches. Other dishwashers on the Sears website list heights under 34 inches (like 33 7/8 inches). It appears that my piece is just about 34 inches tall.

I measured the dishwasher and it appears to be gifted to fit, but it's a situation where it was close enough that I don't really want to take the risk that it won't fit. One determinant is the fact that I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee if I have to return the unit.

I tried profession Kenmore and stopped after I was given 4 different numbers to try. I yearning someone here has some insights.

If you have problems installing by frustrating to slide the unit straight from your floor to the opening, you can tip the segment up in front, slide the back into the opening, then allow the front to touch the floor and you should be in almost finish fit.
All this assumes you do have standard sized cabinetry.
I have never had a problem and have installed at least ten DW over the years in remodels and my own flat.
The pesky thing is the water hookup elbow. Square absolutely sure you use plumber's tape to the very end of the elbow where it meets the fit out line, especially if you are using a flared line. You presumably won't get the line fully onto the threaded elbow, but you need the bind out at the end to avoid water leaks.
