i'm lookin 2 buy either a portable dishwasher or a countertop dishwasher. which of these would you insinuate? i hav a family of 3. how much can you fit in tha countertop 1s? pros/cons of each plz.
My most qualified friend has a portable dishwasher in her lake home, and it cleans like a flight of fancy! It is full-size, as big as any other d/w on the market. It is a Whirlpool Ultra Wash Multi-storey Tub d/w.
I have loaded it for her when we were there for the weekend. You don't even have to rinse dishes -- fair scrape off food. There is plenty of room for big pots, and it cleans slithery messes like a charm.
It even has an internal heater so that the stand up water is really hot without having to turn up the hot water heater. It's as clever as any dishwasher, and far better than my first GE d/w, which was nothing but junk.

I'm conclusion of getting one. has anyone out there had one? do they work well enough and are they worth they money? (they don't cost that much, and I perceive they do not hold that many dishes like a full size)
I have a portable one that hooks up to the plunge. It works great, the dishes are ALWAYS spotless. I bought mine from Sears for about $450. It's unequivocally worth the investment.
Do you have familiarity with a countertop dishwasher?
I am struggling between a 18 "portable dishwasher and a scale model for my pantry countertop very petite. I be sure the phone will have a much change one's mind value, but I have to weigh the costs and benefits of leaving this pause much. Your thoughts and experiences would be greatly appreciated!
I had one of those few years ago. It was very unpleasant, do not have many dishes, and do not get the dishes very sponge. We just perpetuation in the utility closet in the dryer and washing manufacture – calligraphy control. I would not suggest buying one. That was me and a roommate at the habits. So, whether we a put dish, or lots of dinner and was not functional to us. I fantasize the magnitude that we are obliged to have dinner settings for 4.
