What environmentally friendly dishwasher detergent does not leave a white film on your dishes?

I'm looking for a all right dishwasher detergent that is phosphate free and won't leave residue on my dishes. Even with tint aid, I tend to have issues with this. I've tried the Palmolive Eco and the Seventh Gen transparent (though I don't think one was so bad). Any suggestions or tips would be great.

I have always utilized Cascade liquid detergent in my dishwasher and never had any problems until I moved to a place with a well with systematic water. Now the dishes are not cleaning like they did and they are dull. I force they would clean more than anything. They used to come out so nice, but now they are looking horrendous. I bought a rinse agent, but that won't help with the cleaning. What do you use for cold water?

We have involved water and I use Cascade powdered detergent. I use white vinegar in the flush aid dispenser, instead of Jet Dry. It helps break down the alkalinity which causes sedulously water film on the dishes.

The borax suggestion is also a intimate one.
