Anyone have a "fully integrated" Whirpool Gold dishwasher, model #GU2275XTVY? I have an installation question?

The buttons are on top of the door, rather than on the front panel. (so that kids cannot trudge by and accidentally start it). My question is, when you install it, are you NOT presumed to see the buttons at all from the top? And only be able to see them when you open the door? Or should you be able to look down and see them? I'm at best not sure how far I should push the dishwasher in, under the countertop. Thanks!
That is rectify, you should only be able to see the buttons when you open the door.
