Maytag Legacy series 300 dishwasher, panel acting strange?

I've had my Maytag dishwasher for about 18 months. Honest recently the control panel has started doing a ludicrous thing.

I always use the Auto Clean cycle. It will go through the cycle normally. At the end of the wake cycle, the "dry" icon will light up (I use air dry, not intense dry but the icon still lights up which is normal). Typically the "dry" icon will discontinuation lit for about 30 minutes before switching to "clean" but lately when it switches to "dry" the button will start randomly flashing 3 times, go constant, then flashing 3 times, etc.

After about 10 minutes of this the panel will then thrash to "rinse only". This icon will then wait lit for several minutes then the whole panel will go dark, then the "rinse only" button will clobber chance again. This goes on for a certain amount of time before the whole panel goes mystical and stays dark. Note that after the wash is complete, it's unprejudiced the panel that is acting up, the washer is not actually going into dye cycle.

The wash load is functioning normally as far as I can haul someone over the coals. The wash cycle is 90 minutes, my dishes are unsullied and the air is hot when I open the door. I'm guessing this is a panel issue which I positive will cost just as much as a new dishwasher to fix. Can anyone tell me if there is something I can do myself to reset the panel or otherwise answer this issue? I really appreciate your help.
