Can anyone tell me about their experience with an under-sink dishwasher?

I am looking to put in an under-rat dishwasher for our apartment in NYC. I have never had one of these units but have seen them in a couple of apartments.

I'm looking for trade-mark recommendations as well as overall pros/cons.
I have already Googled, Nextag'd, and epinion'd about this crush and what I have seen on the web are only GE under-the-sink dishwashers, but I have not actually been able to find a retailer who carries them. Although Lowes and Snug harbor a comfortable Depot are supposed to have them, no actual store in NJ seems to have them in stock.

Dispensable to say, GE does not have much variety. White or bisque. So if you know of a mark, model #, retailer, or other specific info, I would cognizant it.

Dishwasher hose under kitchen sink?

My severely inspector said the dishwasher hose under the sink was leaking a bit and recommended replacing it. Would this be the dishwasher Outlet Hose? Or is this hose called something else?
It is a permanent hose for a built into the marker type dishwasher (sorry new home owner, need a wordbook!).

There are 2 hoses, a cater to and a discharge.
