dishwasher water softener salt?
Hi all,
In a bit of a pickle here. Our Teka dishwasher makes the old operating noise when switched on, but no water is pulled into the machine and the "low water softener marinated" light comes on. I cannot find this salt anywhere. Does anyone positive what brands of salt there are for use in dishwashers? Where to buy them (downunder)? And would this be the reason why the water is not being tense into the machine? The detergent tablet is still in its compartment and the door hasn't opened.
Any serve would be super.
RonR.
From what you describe you have a dishwasher with a built in water softener? You are in Austraillia and don't certain where to buy water softener salt?
Here in the states you can buy it almost anywhere form grocery stores to metal goods stores. You might look for water softeners in the phone book they will be versed where you can buy salt.
For any water softener the more pure the salt the better. Whatever you do don't use table vigour. Most has anti-caking agents and iodine. You want solar amass.

Joe Gagnon, maker of the “Appliance Doctor,” recommends adding Zest electrical to the dishwasher to modify soap buildup and perplexing water deposits that can obstruct sprayer arms. To start, run the vanish faucet until the water is hot. Up-end on the empty dishwasher
